Hi peoples!
I forgot to mention that we might be going to a state park, so I will not be able to do my blog during that time. :( The park is Gooseberry Falls. Gooseberry Falls Website We were thinking about going to a really big campground that has over 300 sites! Crazy right!?! But a lot of the reviews weren't very good. My mom and dad are still looking at places to go to, but that Gooseberry one looks promising. My mom was saying we will be going to go look at Split Rock Light House tomorrow. Split Rock Light House Website We'll see how that goes. I'll have to tell you once I will have Wi-Fi again. Yeah, my mom really likes light houses. :D We've been to a lot. And yet they are still exciting to see.

What it's like to travel the United States of America in a RV. Well, most of them anyway. (Sorry Hawaii and Alaska) ;)

Day 47
Hi peoples!
We got back home (Or to the RV) around 7:30pm from town today. We decided to visit the Aquarium and after that we went to Canal Park Brewery. Canal Park Brewery Website The food was very good but pretty pricey They had burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc. You know, the usual brewery menu. ;)
The Aquarium was a lot bigger then I expected. It had two floors and the biggest touch pool in north America. It's not the kind of touch pool where it is really shallow and you can pick up the little sea creatures. This one was about two and a half feet deep with big fish that you were aloud to touch with one finger at a time. The fish were all kinds of sturgeon. A lady that worked there said that those fish can grow up to 26 feet long! Whoa! We also got to see some Turtles and, believe it or not, birds. There were some really big fish (including the sturgeon) like a cat fish and some rays. At the gift shop I got a little green turtle. It's the kind of stuffed animal that feels like they've filled it with sand. I still can't think of a really good name for him/her.
The last thing we did in town was look in a visitor center that was about big boats that would carry cargo (that looked kind of like coal) from one place to the next along the great lakes and walked to a light house. I don't think it was being used any more. It was pretty small, we weren't able to go inside. But it was, of course on the lake, so it was really pretty. The waves were huge!
We are still deciding where to go tomorrow.

Day 46
Hi peoples!
Yay! I'm back to writing sooner then five days! :D The reason for that is that I got a laptop for myself to do my school work and my blog! It's a Lenovo. I don't know much about computers except that they are awesome! My brothers got their own laptops for the same reason. Shane has a Dell, and Jack has a Asus. The Wi-Fi is much faster on this computer, so I am able to do my blog more often.
We are in a KOA (Kampground of America) campground right now because we needed to do the laundry. The place we were at before had laundry, but the water was so nasty tasting and smelling that my mom didn't want to wash our clothes in it. KOA Duluth Minnesota Website
We got here in Duluth, Minnesota today because my mom says there is a lot of things to do here, such as a zoo, an aquarium and a railroad museum. We are staying here two nights so tomorrow we have all day to explore. I really want to look at the aquarium and railroad museum.
When we were still at the last campground ( Crow Wing Lake Campground Website ) We went on a pedal boat on the lake! The pedal boat is a boat that has pedals on that you use to move and rudder to steer it. It was really fun but hard. You really had to use your muscles to move the thing. :) Thank goodness I was able to bring Sammy with us. The funny thing about Sammy is that he has to be with all his people. ;) So he would swim besides us, and when he was tired he would climb up on one of the boats (We rented two) and then would whine because he couldn't get to the other one. So then he would jump back into the lake to get to the others. Haha! :D Since he does a lot of swimming, we got him a life vest awhile ago so it would be easier for him. And he looks adorable in it! At first hated it and would try to chew it off himself, but now he has accepted it as something he has to wear sometimes. Anyway, almost all of us ended up getting in the water. It was cold be refreshing. Jack only got his legs in, but at least it was something.
I'll have to get some pictures tomorrow when we go exploring so I can put them on my next blog.

P.S. We went through Bemidji on the way to Crow Wing Lake Campground to visit Paul Bunyan and his bull Babe. They had big statues of them, and inside the visitor center everything we big! There was even a big tooth pick! Haha! There was a park to play on and a lake where Sammy went for a swim. If you haven't noticed already, Sammy loves to swim. ;D

Day 44
Hi peoples!
It's been a while. We've been staying at a lot of state parks, so I haven't been able to get any Wi-Fi until now. Now we are in Minnesota! But for the past to weeks we were traveling though Montana and North Dakota. But before we to North Dakota, visited the Little Big Horn site in Montana just south of Billings. It was pretty exciting see where all the soldiers died, because there were white stones to mark where they fell. They had a cute little museum and a program where somebody talks to you about what happened. We did both but the lady who did the talking was pretty annoying because she would talk vvveerrryyy... ssllloowwlllyyy.... :D

After Little Big Horn we stayed at the badlands in Montana for a couple nights. The first day was pretty fun there was a lot of trails to climb. After that, it rained the rest of the time we were there.
While we were in the badlands we went to town. We were looking for a dinosaur museum, but it turns out that it no longer "existed". Instead the guy who owned it turned it into a toy/ music/ dinosaur/ comic book store. It was interesting. The comic books were collectables. He had a 38 foot T-rex in his store from the museum! And he also had a ton of guitars! He even showed me one that could be a ukulele or a guitar. It was the size of a ukulele but it's six strings were tuned to play as a ukulele or guitar. But what was really cool was some of the pictures he had. One showed his wife and daughter with the base player in Kiss! Is that cool or what!? He knew Jene Simmons! My dad told me to say that the guy who owned the store looked a lot like Ed Burns. :P
Once we left the badlands we went to Fort Union. Since it is so close to North Dakota, the parking lot was in Montana and the Fort it's self was in North Dakota! Haha! It was cool to be able to see so much and so far in the towers. Jack liked to look at the canons that were up there. Inside the main building had a ton of furs piled in a corner. So we had some fun trying those on and taking pictures.
A funny thing happened at the Missouri Yellowstone Interpretive Center. When we went to look inside there after the fort, it turned out that somebody was having a wedding at that moment! :) Thank goodness they had just finished up. We almost crashed a wedding.
We stayed at Teddy Roosevelt National park from the 17th to the 18th. It was really cool, we got to see "cannon ball" like creations in the rock on some trails there. The rock kind of looked like the badlands. Just as pretty, if not more. From the 19th to the 22nd we stayed at Abraham Lincoln State Park. We all loved it there, especially my dad and Sammy. The was a really fun river and some cool biking and hiking trails. We got to see the inside of a reconstructed Indian village and got to climb in some more towers. ;D
On the way to get to A. L. State Park we went on the Enchanted Highway. It was somewhere around 30 miles long. It had seven different giant statue creations as you drive along. We got some pictures of the birds and a couple others.

The 22nd was my moms birthday! Since we left A. L. State Park that day, she decided that she wanted to see the Ronald Reagan Missile site. It was neat to see how and where everybody would have been at that time. I felt like I was stepping into my grandparents basement! The lower level, where all the missile stuff was, was weird. After being in there for a while, it made my stomach feel sick.
Now here we are in Minnesota! We are right near Brainerd. We'll be here two nights. As I'm writing this, there is a big thunder storm going on. Muwahahaha! :)

Day 30
Hi peoples!
We're in Yellowstone! We got here in Gardiner, Montana on Wednesday at 7:00pm, and we will be leaving Sunday morning. The RV park we are at is A-MAZ-ING! We have the best camp site ever! We are number 48. It's at the edge of the park. It's pretty big, probably the biggest site. What I love about the site is we have enough room to put the back porch out, so if we sit out there, we have the most gorgeous view.
On Thursday we went to Norris in the Yellowstone area. There was two different loops We went on both, the Porcelain Basin and Back Basin. The Porcelain Basin, the smaller loop, was more open. And the bigger loop had more trees and wild life. Speaking of wild life. On the way back to the camp site we saw a bunch of Elk! And some Big Horned Sheep! They were just minding their own business. :D
I'm sorry to say that I can't put any pictures up that we took. The internet is way too slow, to where it won't work. :( I was able to bet some maps from the internet though.
Map of Yellowstone.

Map of Norris.

We went into town to do some shopping yesterday! Jack got a nice tri fold leather wallet with the picture of a wolf on it, a lollipop, and a bag of candy. Haha! :D Shane got one of those leather "money clips", a shirt and a bag of candy. ;) My mom got a shirt and my dad got two shirts. I got a sweatshirt and a knife that was 50% off! Awesome!
My knife!
We went into town two or three times. Probably because it's so awesome there. Today I think we are going to Mammoth Hot Springs, thankfully it's not as for trip as Norris was. Mammoth is also where you can get a fishing license, so we might get go fishing too.

Day 27
Hi peoples!
It really stinks when you can't get Wi-Fi to do your blog! I'm so sorry guys, it took a bit for us to get to a campsite that had Wi-Fi that would work.
How 'bout I start where I left off? We left HiValley campsite on the 31st to head toward Kooskia to visit my great Aunt Rosella and great Uncle Bill. We parked our RV in Kamiah, ID, in Long Camp RV park. http://longcamprvpark.com/ Usually they do a market there every Saturday, but it was pretty small that time. We stayed two nights, from the 31st to the 2nd. We're in September now! Yay! Now, on Saturday night (The 2nd) we stayed near Grant-Kohrs Ranch. https://www.nps.gov/grko/index.htm Man, was it cool! We got to see a giant house on the farm and some big horses and how they would run things. The house had 14 bedrooms! Can you believe that!?
Now we are in Bozeman, Montana. We got here got here Monday and we were suppose to leave yesterday, but the truck was making a weird noise, so we had to take it to the shop. We aren't sure if it's the turbo or the exhaust manifold that's having issues. We might be leaving today to go to Yellowstone, but it depends on when we get the truck back from the shop.
We had a really amazing experience yesterday! We went to the Museum of the Rockies! https://museumoftherockies.org/ A dinosaur museum! It was awesome seeing all the bones and artifacts. Jack was going crazy! He loves looking at dinosaurs. He was running all over the place showing us every thing. But this museum isn't just about Dinos, there was also native American stuff, cars and guns, and a crocodile exhibit! My favorites were probably the dinosaurs and the crocs. We got to see live crocs in side the museum! One had tried to get close to another, and it attacked the one getting too close to his personal bubble. It was cool and scary. Thank goodness they were smaller ones. :D One of the Dinosaur rooms had a full skeleton of a T-Rex! One of the workers there told us that it was the only Dinosaur that was found with it's "Belly Ribs" still in tacked! The belly ribs were under the main ribs. They pretty much looked like ribs, but upside down. This is the skeleton that has the belly ribs.
I will write soon. Next stop, Yellowstone! ;D
